Connecting Business & Community, L.L.C. was first organized by Edwina Bergano, Emer Lunasin and Gil Salang as a result of the need to intertwine both business and community groups professionally and personally. They bring together a group of talented professionals who work as a team to align your business or community group who want to see each other succeed.
The infusion of people and businesses is a necessary tool in today's world of fast paced media. BizNet Expo 2011 will allow your business to explore a new level of marketing and advertising through a grassroots approach by personally connecting to members of our community.
Over 30 sponsors participated in the 2010 BizNet Expo which included Aloha Hawaiian BBQ, Bangkok Garden, Cagney's, Canon, Targeted Publications +Media, Hampton Roads Live, Prudential Towne Realty, Envoy Mortgage, Virginia Beach Public Safety, Dela Cruz Photo Graphics, Travel Outlet, and others. As result of our "grassroots" strategy that reached out to the close-knit network within our community, BizNet Expo 2010 was well attended by 250 people.
The event took place at the Philippine Cultural Center of Virginia (PCC) on Baxter Road. It is a gathering place for many functions in the Asian community as well as the greater Hampton Roads area.
Making a choice to attend BizNet Expo will empower your business relationships not with just the stereotypical corporate gray but with the colorful interaction of people to business at this event.
According to the recent Old Dominion University study last fall, almost one-quarter of Hampton Roads foreign-born population hail from the Philippines. In addition, the larger population of Virginia Beach is over 400,000
BizNet Expo will bring these people and our business communities together.
The first BizNet Expo was created March 2007 as a venue for business and the Filipino American community to share an afternoon to meet each other and learn about the rich heritage of our culture. The wonderful win-win experience benefited all, through the networking, entertainment, food and fun. This year we will we plan to have a festive program which will highlight our businesses and honors our community organizations.
Imagine being able to align your businesses, cause or group in a personal way through this grassroots strategy. Last year organizers worked together with volunteer organizations to benefit local projects.
